60-Days Strong

 

Guess what today is?!?

Today is 60 days till the end of the year! As exciting as it may seem for 2020 to be almost over we can also have the chance to change its ending. Instead of sitting around, forgetting to move our bodies, let’s take care of our selves and complete a 60-Days Strong Challenge!

What is the 60 Days Strong Challenge?

Glad you asked! It is a challenge to get up, move your body, and take care of yourself every day still the end of the year. This way when January first strikes, you already have habits in place to help you prepare for the year ahead?
For the next 60-Days, complete these task every day:
  1. Move your body for 30 Minutes.
    This can be anything from a walk, doing a workout, yoga, dancing, anything to get your blood flowing and your body moving!
  2. Take 10,000 Steps in a day.
    Use this as a reason to part in the back lot at Target and get those steps in or take the stairs instead of the elevator.
  3. Get outside for 30 minutes
    and absorb that vitamin D, improve your mood, and enhance creativity. So get outside playing with your kids, meditating, or going for a walk.
  4. Drink 1/2 your body weight in oz. 
    So if you weigh 150lb, drink 75oz of water.
  5. Follow a meal plan
    So pick a plan you already use or reach out for one!
  6. Read for 15 minutes
    Preferably some professional/personal development. Feel free to use this time for a podcast or auto book too if reading isn’t your thing!
  7. Write down 1 thing you are grateful for today! Try to keep each day different!

What workouts should I do?

What Happens if I don’t hit my goal every day?

Nothing! Progress is in no way linear and some days are better than others! Don’t beat yourself up for it, just move on! I don’t hit my own goals every day either and sometimes, I want a lazy day and that’s okay! But this is a good starting point to get you thinking about how you can take care of yourself better!
