Classroom Adventures with Carissa:

Since 2016, I have dedicated my career to teaching at a school for students with Language-Based Learning Differences. My experience includes teaching subjects such as geometry, algebra 2, pre-calculus, probability and statistics, outdoor leadership, and technology. I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Recreation from Gordon College. As a licensed teacher in Moderate Special Education and Secondary Mathematics in Massachusetts, I firmly believe that all students can learn when provided with the right environment and tools to succeed.
