So you just bought yourself a Jeep Wrangler and you’re not sure what accessories you want and need. This is a comprehensive list of accessories we bought in our first year that have enhanced our jeep experience! But first, here is a little about our jeep!

My Jeep

So a year ago, my husband and I bought a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4xe Rubicon which basically means a plug-in hybrid Jeep Wrangler 4-door lifted. We traded both of our cars in for it because we live where we work, so we really only drove one car for errands and adventures. And thinking about the future, we decided a plug-in hybrid car was the way to go! And we have loved every minute of it!

In all honesty, the “electric” portion of the car is not great compared to normal electric cars because you only get about 26 miles on only electric. But in hybrid mode (the car primarily runs electric) you can get 30-50 miles depending on driving and outside temperatures. But it’s great for running errands and driving around town and then we have a large gas tank for our longer adventures!

Overall this Jeep can basically do anything a “normal” Jeep can and it’s great! In the last year, we’ve taken it on countless adventures including a cross-country road trip! We use this jeep to pull our Taxa camper (which we love) and you can learn more about it HERE. But for this post, we will keep it to jeep-only accessories. No camping things here, although Jeeps are great for camping!

Accessories:

Side Mirrors – For when you get the doors off and still need your side-view mirrors!

Jeep Cover – for when you take the doors off and don’t want to put them back on!

Short Antenna – Although the tall one is “classic” it gets in the way, so here is a shorter one!

First Aid Kit – You never know when an emergency will happen and you want to be prepared.

Cross Bars – Attached to your hard top to carry all your gear!

Spare Tire Jack Boost – hopefully, you never need it but in case you do!

American Flag Mountain Decal – to customize your hard top back windows!

Hard Top Hoist System – for when you want to take off and store your hard top!

Off-Roading GPS – Perfect for helping you navigate on and off the road!

As we get more accessories, I’ll update this list! But so far everything on here we’ve loved and have worked really well!
